GENERAL PROPERTIES

RuVin VP6638 – powder – a copolymer of vinyl and acrylic esters, stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol. It can be easily redispersed in water. Its special chemical composition ensures low film-forming temperatures and improves adhesion to cement substrates. Due to its special physicochemical properties, RuVin VP6638 enhances adhesion to substrates, increases “open time” and reduces the water content in mixtures.

APPLICATION

RuVinVP6638 is used to modify mixtures containing hydraulic binders.
RuVin VP6638 is used for the production of tile adhesives. Even a small amount of RuVin VP6638 improves the adhesion and peel strength of glued tiles. The solutions used for tile adhesives based on RuVin VP6638 have very good performance and increased resistance to heat, water, frost and thaws. Due to its good water resistance, a content of 1% to 4% by weight of RuVin VP6638 can also be used to prepare solutions for thin layers. After the solution dries, it turns out to be quite flexible, so it gives good resistance to deformation of the surfaces with which it is in contact.
Solutions containing RuVin VP6638 have excellent adhesion and performance as their main properties. Due to these characteristics, RuVin VP6638 can be used for the preparation of repair mortars.

PACKING

RuVin VP6638 comes in 25 kg paper bags and 500 kg big bags.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

RuVin VP6638 must be stored in a cool, dry place. Do not stack pallets on top of each other due to the thermoplasticity of the polymer.
After use, the packaging must be well closed to prevent moisture from entering the product from the atmosphere. It can lead to lumps.
