GENERAL PROPERTIES

RuVin VP8838 is a powder, a triple copolymer of vinyl and acrylic esters, stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol. It can be easily redispersed in water. The very low Tg of the polymer makes the resin flexible and resilient. The special chemical composition provides very low film-forming temperatures.
RuVin VP8838 is used to modify mixtures containing hydraulic binders if the final product must have very high elasticity as well as water resistance.
Due to its special chemical-physical properties, RuVin VP8838 improves adhesion to the bases, increases the “open time” and reduces the water content in mixtures.

APPLICATION

Liquid Sealing Mixtures
The compositions prepared with the addition of RuVin VP8838 demonstrate high elasticity and the ability to deform. With the addition of RuVin VP8838, adhesion to cement substrates is also improved.
If it is necessary to obtain a very flexible product, a large percentage of RuVin VP8838 (& gt; & gt; 10%) can be added to the composition. In this case, typical water absorption will range from 25 to 30 parts per 100 parts of the finished powder mixture, depending on the quantity and quality of the hydraulic binder used. Therefore, RuVin VP8838 has very good cement compatibility.

PACKING

RuVin VP8838 comes in 25 kg paper bags and 500 kg big bags.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

RuVin VP8838 must be stored in a cool, dry place. Do not stack pallets on top of each other due to the thermoplasticity of the polymer.
After use, the packaging must be well closed to prevent moisture from entering the product from the atmosphere. It can lead to lumps in the re-dispersible powder.
